12 Applied Communication students began the second Term by creating Chapter 3 PowerPoint presentations. Students read the chapter, section by section. Then, they created a PowerPoint to summarize the important or key points of the chapter. This was a partner activity or groups of three (when odd numbers occurred). Students had Wednesday, Thursday and today to complete this assignment in class. After all students complete this, I will compile all the students' key points and make a master to distribute. This promotes students to read the chapter through themselves, then students read it again while going through key points, then they have the master notes for studying (along with their own notes!). Monday, we will begin practicing concepts within the chapter.
