Today in English 10 and Applied Comm. 10 we discussed The Opportunity. Students did really well reading independently. They understood the story, and major events as they occurred. This excites me because I see a lot of improvement from the beginning of the year to now: the end of this marking period.
Tomorrow, we will be studying for our vocabulary test, which will be on Friday, and we will start a new story, Everyday Use by Alice Walker.
