Now that we have finished reading The Leap by Louise Erdrich from our Elements of Literature: 4th Course textbooks, we are currently making storyboards. The storyboards are focused on the three main events that saved the narrators life in the story.
The students must draw each scene in detail, according to the instructions on the handout. Students began drawing and coloring (required!) their storyboards today. This assignment is due on Monday, October 6.
Tomorrow students will have a practice 4Sight reading prompt based on The Leap. This includes multiple choice questions and an open-ended response. It will be homework for Monday.

I would LOVE to see a storyboard that you have made. I know the artistic talents of my friends and wish that they would share them with me.
