Word Arrangement

12 AP Comm reviewed yesterdays class and then talked about word order in sentences. We completed an exercise in class that asked the students to read sentences that were unclear. The students then had to reword the sentences make them clear. For example: Drew explained his car accident while eating lunch in my kitchen. This should be reworded to say: While eating lunch in my kitchen, Drew explained his car accident.

We also began discussing the project for Chapter 2. Instead of students taking a Chapter test. The students will complete a summative assessment project. They have three options for the project to choose from. All of the options include working within the career field to make an expanded definition.

Tomorrow in class, we will begin to look at the layout of the expanded definition and students will choose their projects.
