Weekend Overview - Oct. 3-Oct. 5

Friday night, before we got groceries, we had a nice, but short, visit with my mother-in-law, Shawnee and my father-in-law, Lou. Nicely enough, they dropped off corn stalks for outside decorations. Kennedy, my daughter, always enjoys visits with Gammy & Pappy!

Penn State beat Purdue 20-6 on Saturday. GO STATE!

My husband and I had an interesting time on Saturday from 11A.M. to 5P.M picking red potatoes with my landlord and his family. Kennedy got to go with Grammy (my mom) to her cousin, Hanna's soccer game & Wal-Mart. We met some great people (Tracy & Dean from Texas, the neighbors, etc) and learned a new appreciation for organic farmers. Although, our bodies ache, we had a good time. Ask me for details if you want!

Sunday was family day. We went over to my brother and sister-in laws, Jordan & Erin's house to wash our vehicles. (Great job JTR Services!) Then, we watched my nephew, CJ play flag football. He did a great job playing defense and offense. He ran the ball quite a bit and even got a 2-point conversion (You rock #22!). After that we went to my Gramma Hazel's for some pizza and visiting time with my family.

Overall, it was a busy and productive weekend. My, how they fly...!
